Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at 1312640 ALBERTA LTD. as a key member of our culinary team.

Job Summary:

The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and prepare menus for our restaurant, taking into account seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring that they are following proper food safety and handling procedures.
  • Manage inventory and ordering of food and supplies, minimizing waste and optimizing costs.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items, ensuring that they are appealing to our customers.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that our restaurant is running smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of culinary arts and food safety procedures.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree preferred.
