We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Manager to join our team at Isaan Der-Thai Kitchen & Bar. As a key member of our restaurant operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen and ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • College/CEGEP education
  • First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, WHMIS Certificate, Smart Serve, Food Safety Certificate, Responsible Beverage Service Certificate, Safe Food Handling certificate, Serving It Right Certificate, and Serving It Safe program certification
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods
