Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team at CP. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing detailed accounting and reporting activities, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and other regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate accounting and reporting activities to support rapid and accurate execution
  • Perform journal entries and reconciliations, and prepare external financial disclosures
  • Prepare financial analysis on monthly and quarterly data, and assess implications of significant financial transactions
  • Identify and analyze inconsistent information, and recommend adjustments where necessary
  • Ensure financial reporting is in compliance with US GAAP, tax or securities regulation as applicable and SOX

Requirements

  • CPA designation
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience
  • Knowledge of US GAAP requirements, desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with ability to set and meet deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
