About the Opportunity

We are looking for an exceptional individual with a proven track record in academic and clinical leadership to spearhead our division's mission. As a joint appointment, you will be responsible for overseeing both academic and clinical aspects of the division, ensuring seamless collaboration between our faculty members and hospital staff.

As the Division Head, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the vision and strategic direction of our division. Your primary objectives will include:

  • Developing and implementing innovative strategies to enhance patient-centered care
  • Fostering a culture of excellence in research and education
  • Leading a team of 12 full-time and four part-time academic rheumatologists

In this role, you will work closely with our departmental leaders to drive clinical and organizational excellence, reduce silos, increase transparency, and improve accountability for performance and outcomes at the division level.

To be successful in this position, you will possess:

  • Advanced interpersonal skills
  • A strong background in academic and clinical leadership
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing strategic plans

We offer a highly competitive salary of $250,000 - $300,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
