Division Chief Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced pediatric cardiologist to lead our Division of Cardiology at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario.

The successful candidate will oversee the safety and quality of care provided as well as the medical staff within the Division, with responsibilities for medical staff leadership, operational resource oversight, and the Division's academic activity. As a clinical and academic leader, you will maintain a strong clinical presence while driving program development, education, and research initiatives.

To excel in this role, you will need strong operational and academic leadership skills, a proven record of achievement in comprehensive patient care, clinical program development, education, research, and/or quality assurance. You must be eligible for a full-time academic appointment in the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ottawa.

Pediatric cardiology experience is essential, with certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or equivalent, and eligibility for licensing in the Province of Ontario.

The estimated salary range for this position is $250,000 - $350,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
