Key Responsibilities- Develop Business Development Strategies
- Partner with clients and prospects to understand their objectives and financial goals.
- Act as a concierge to clients, assisting with their financial needs and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Provide regular updates to clients on investment strategies and capital markets.
- Be resourceful in determining solutions that add value to clients' long-term goals.
- Develop Investment and Financial Planning Strategies
- Complete a deep discovery to understand clients' financial and non-financial situations.
- Leverage financial planning software to create plans addressing identified client needs and goals.
- Continuously review and update client plans as material changes occur.
- Develop and Maintain Long-Term Client Relationships
- Ensure clients receive the appropriate levels of service, including meetings, planning, reporting, and responses to requests.
- Proactively contact existing clients to educate them about investment strategies and products.
- Identify, execute, and follow up on opportunities to gather additional client assets.
- Increase the number of clients doing business with Fidelity Canada.
- Work Closely with the Sales Development VP
- In collaboration with the Sales Development VP, successfully onboard new clients while minimizing attrition.
- Meet with the advisor and understand existing client relationships as part of the transition process.
- Provide Guidance and Direction to Wealth Advisors
- Mentor junior Wealth Advisors to build a development pipeline.
- Strategize ways to increase prospects, client penetration, and overall book of business.
Requirements
- Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written, with the ability to articulate financial planning concepts clearly.
- In-depth understanding of product structures, capital markets, and investments.
- Ability to position appropriate products and investments in the context of current needs and long-term financial plans.
- Excellent relationship management skills and client-centric focus.
