Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Area Vice President, Business Development to join our Business Development team. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing an area-based strategy to source and attract top-quality financial advisors to IG Wealth Management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement an area-based strategy to source and attract top-quality financial advisors
  • Leverage existing network within the financial services industry to drive the acquisition of advisor practices
  • Provide leadership to Regional Vice Presidents and Division Managers in candidate conversations
  • Partner with field leadership to attract large industry candidates and drive career discussions
  • Collect and strategically leverage competitive intelligence to inform planning and conversations
  • Manage a corporate area budget to support strategically beneficial area expenses and ROI
Requirements
  • Strong network and connection with medium to large-sized industry books ($50M+)
  • Currently or previously mutual fund dealer or investment dealer licensed
  • Good knowledge of competitive intelligence within the industry
  • Bilingualism is an asset
