About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to join our Whitehorse, Yukon team. As a key member of our Environment division, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality technical solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage project schedules and budgets, including financial forecasting and technical execution.
  • Participate in proposal preparation and cost estimation.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships through business development activities.
  • Provide technical expertise for contaminated site investigation and remediation programs.
  • Interpret findings and prepare technical reports.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, ensuring project requirements are communicated and health and safety protocols are adhered to.
  • Collaborate with Indigenous communities and businesses, supporting the communities in which we work.
  • Actively promote Health and Safety programs and culture.
  • Participate in short and long-range planning.
  • Assess analytical results and interpret data to identify trends and environmental stresses.
  • Communicate results to stakeholders through public consultations or other appropriate processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of environmental experience, with 2+ years of progressive experience in environmental project planning, coordination, and management.
  • Diploma or degree from a relevant program.
  • Ability to acquire professional designation within two years of employment, if not currently registered.
  • Valid Class 5 Full driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Demonstrated technical skills in field activities related to Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, including groundwater monitoring and sampling techniques.
  • Experience with provincial and federal environmental regulations, with a strong understanding of CCME guidelines.
