Job Title: Environmental Scientist - Yukon

Job Summary:

We are seeking an Environmental Scientist to join our team in Whitehorse, Yukon. As an Environmental Scientist, you will be responsible for conducting environmental site assessments, monitoring and sampling, and providing technical expertise to support project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Phase I and II environmental site assessments, including groundwater monitoring and sampling.
  • Provide technical expertise to support project execution, including contractor supervision and project coordination.
  • Collaborate with senior technical experts and professionals to provide high-quality technical solutions to clients.
  • Work closely with Indigenous communities and businesses on projects extending across the territory.
  • Develop and implement remediation and risk management plans.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in a relevant field, with eligibility for professional designation.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in environmental consulting, including project execution, contractor supervision, and project coordination.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and highly organized, with strong time management skills.
  • Valid Class 5 Full driver's license with a clean driving record.
