About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at 902776 N.W.T. Limited. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Cost Control: Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to ensure optimal profitability.
  • Menu Planning: Collaborate with our culinary team to plan and develop menus that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and train a team of cooks, sous-chefs, and specialist chefs to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Client Relations: Provide exceptional customer service and consult with clients on weddings, banquets, and specialty functions.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and arrange for equipment purchases and repairs to maintain a well-stocked and efficient kitchen.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all food meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and presentation.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 38.5 hours per week.
