About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Sous Chef to join our team at 902776 N.W.T. Limited. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Cost Control: Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to ensure optimal profitability.
  • Operational Analysis: Analyze operating costs and other data to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Culinary Leadership: Supervise and train a team of sous chefs, specialist chefs, chefs, and cooks to ensure seamless food preparation and cooking activities.
  • Menu Planning: Collaborate with our culinary team to plan and develop menus that meet the highest quality standards and cater to diverse customer preferences.
  • Customer Service: Prepare and cook meals for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, hire, and train staff to ensure a skilled and motivated team.
  • Equipment Management: Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs to maintain a well-maintained kitchen environment.
  • Client Relations: Consult with clients regarding weddings, banquets, and specialty functions to ensure their needs are met.
