Job Title: Support Staff for Educational Programs


Job Summary: We are seeking a Support Staff for Educational Programs to join our team at Ridgecliff Middle School.


Responsibilities:



  • Provide support to students with special needs in a classroom setting.
  • Assist with daily routines and activities.
  • Support students with toileting, personal care, and use of assistive technology.
  • Assist with seizure management and behaviour management support.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:



  • Valid First Aid/CPR Certification.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Experience working with students with Down's Syndrome and Autism.
  • Related diploma or certificate from a recognized post-secondary institution.
