Product Quality Assurance Specialist

This position is responsible for driving the resolution of Non-Conformances by containing problems at the earliest opportunity, communicating with Key Stakeholders, facilitating mitigation plans, and tracking resolution status.

Responsibilities- Drive the resolution of Non-Conformances:
- Contain problems at the earliest opportunity
- Communicate with Key Stakeholders
- Facilitate mitigation plans
- Track resolution status
- Provide leadership, coaching, and training:
- During investigations of major problems and/or special projects
- Regarding supplier non-conformances or corrective actions
- Organize and conduct GEMBA walks:
- Proactively identify issues, productivity gains, and mitigate quality issues
- Create and execute Continuous Improvement projects:
- For the Supplier Quality Group
- Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Certificate in ISO auditing considered an asset
- P.Eng.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, AS 9100 or equivalent Quality Management Systems
- Experience:
- 5+ years of related experience in manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, oil and gas, or ocean technology
- Experience with QMS software is an asset
- Strong sense of urgency to complete tasks
- Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills
- High attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
The estimated annual salary range for this position is $85,000-$110,000 CAD, depending on experience and qualifications.
Please note that this is a competitive salary range, and actual compensation may vary based on individual circumstances.
