Academic MS Neurologist Position

We are seeking a highly qualified Academic MS Neurologist to join our team at McMaster University.

About the Position:

This is a full-time faculty position for a period of three years, renewable based on performance and departmental needs. The successful candidate will be a full-time member of the Division of Neurology and will contribute to the academic mission of the Faculty and Division.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and teaching in the field of multiple sclerosis and related demyelinating disorders
  • Participate in departmental and divisional educational activities
  • Contribute to the development of academic programs and initiatives

Requirements:

  • MD or equivalent degree
  • Completion of a fellowship program in neurology
  • Eligibility for certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
  • Licensure in the Province of Ontario

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in research and teaching in the field of multiple sclerosis
  • Publication record in peer-reviewed journals
  • Experience in academic leadership and administration
