Academic MS Neurologist Opportunity

The Department of Medicine at McMaster University invites applications for an Academic MS Neurologist position.

This is a full-time faculty appointment for a period of three years, renewable based on performance and departmental needs. The successful candidate will be a full-time member of the Division of Neurology and will contribute to the academic mission of the Faculty and Division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and teaching in the area of multiple sclerosis and related demyelinating disorders
  • Participate in departmental and divisional educational activities, including curriculum development and teaching
  • Contribute to the development of clinical programs and services in the Division of Neurology

Requirements:

  • MD or equivalent degree
  • Completion of a fellowship program in neurology or related field
  • Eligibility for certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
  • Licensure in the Province of Ontario

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in research and teaching in the area of multiple sclerosis and related demyelinating disorders
  • Publication record in peer-reviewed journals
  • Experience in clinical program development and management
