Academic MS Neurologist Position

We are seeking a highly qualified Academic MS Neurologist to join our team at the Department of Medicine, McMaster University.

Job Summary

This is a full-time faculty position for a period of three years (renewable). The successful candidate will be a full-time member of the Division of Neurology and will be expected to contribute to the academic mission of the Faculty and Division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and academic activities in the diagnosis and treatment of MS and related demyelinating disorders.
  • Participate in departmental and divisional educational activities, including teaching and mentoring students and residents.
  • Develop and maintain a research program in MS and related demyelinating disorders.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members and researchers to advance the field of MS and related demyelinating disorders.
Requirements
  • Applicants should be certified (or eligible for certification) by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
  • Must be licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the Province of Ontario.
  • Have a strong research background and a focused area of expertise in MS and related demyelinating disorders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in teaching and mentoring students and residents.
  • Strong publication record in the field of MS and related demyelinating disorders.
  • Experience in grant writing and research funding.
