We are seeking a Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team at Shoeless Joe Vaughan. This is a permanent, 32-hour per week position with the possibility of full-time hours in the future.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the company's financial records and performing various bookkeeping tasks.

You will calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, calculate fixed assets and depreciation, keep financial records, maintain general ledgers and financial statements, post journal entries, and prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports.

Additionally, you will reconcile accounts, prepare tax returns, and prepare a trial balance of books.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, as well as strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field

The salary for this position is approximately $40,000 per year, based on the industry standards and location.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

This role requires the ability to work independently and manage repetitive tasks with a high level of accuracy.

The successful candidate will also possess efficient interpersonal skills, be organized, reliable, a team player, and have strong time management skills.
