Job Overview

About the Role

The Strategic Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, preparing and posting notices and advertisements, and collecting and screening applicants. Additionally, this role will involve advising job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment, reviewing candidate inventories, contacting potential applicants to arrange interviews, and recruiting graduates of colleges, universities, and other educational institutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staffing Requirements: Identify current and prospective staffing requirements to ensure the company's operational needs are met.
  • Talent Sourcing: Prepare and post notices and advertisements to attract top talent and collect and screen applicants to ensure they meet the required qualifications.
  • Candidate Management: Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment, review candidate inventories, and contact potential applicants to arrange interviews.
  • Recruitment: Recruit graduates of colleges, universities, and other educational institutions to fill existing and future positions.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Education: A College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and proficiency in MS Office applications.
