Senior Coordinator, Human Resources

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Senior Coordinator, Human Resources to join our team at Loblaw Companies Limited. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a critical role in supporting the launch and ongoing operation of our new distribution centre.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all colleagues on leave, ensuring seamless support and communication.
- Provide expert guidance and support on HR-related matters, including compensation, benefits, recruiting, and employee relations.
- Assist recruiters with full-cycle recruitment and orientation, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
- Process employment verifications, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
- Administer and maintain the Attendance Program, promoting a culture of accountability and productivity.
- Prepare and maintain weekly reports outlining key HR metrics, providing valuable insights for business decision-making.
- Support the Operations team with employee engagement initiatives, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Compile, distribute, and maintain reports on personnel utilization, ensuring timely and accurate information.
- Assist the HR Business Partner with internal investigations, upholding our commitment to fairness and integrity.
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field, with a strong preference for HR Management Certification.
- 3-5 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on coordinating departmental programs and initiatives.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Strong integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality, handling sensitive information with care.
- Solid computer skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), with a high degree of proficiency.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a strong sense of urgency and commitment to delivering results.
- Highly motivated and self-directed, with a strong ability to work independently.
