About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team at Skyview Contracting. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of construction projects, ensuring timely completion, and managing budgets.
- Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the activities of subcontractors, ensuring seamless project execution.
- Evaluate daily operations and implement improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates, ensuring accurate forecasts.
- Plan and organize daily operations, setting clear goals and objectives.
- Select and manage trade subcontractors, ensuring high-quality work.
- Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements.
- Operate CADD and other computer software systems, utilizing technology to enhance project management.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schemas, and drawings, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Plan and manage budgets, tracking expenses and optimizing resources.
- Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
- Oversee the analysis of data and information, making informed decisions to drive project success.
- Prepare reports, providing regular updates on project progress and performance.
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, ensuring exceptional results.
- Qualifications and Requirements
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in construction project management.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and MS Outlook, with experience in project management software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and high expectations.
