Challenge Course Manager

Join our team as a Challenge Course Manager at Ontario Camps Association, where you will be responsible for delivering a safe and enjoyable program during the Outdoor Education and Summer seasons.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide specific training to Outdoor Education Facilitator Staff in challenge course activities.
- Ensure the safety of campers and staff at all times.
- Design and deliver daily programming that combines the challenge by choice philosophy with challenge course activities.
- Debrief activities and ensure students have a complete learning experience.
- Prepare orders of supplies needed to run a safe program throughout the Outdoor Education season.
- Inspect the challenge course prior to each day of use and report any problems to the Director.
- Maintain a positive and professional work environment with all fellow staff.
- Must be at least 18 years of age at the beginning of camp.
- Must hold Level 2 certification from a challenge course professional trainer or be willing to obtain through the organization.
- Previous experience working with children of related age groups.
- Current certification in Standard First Aid and CPR C.
- A clear vulnerable sector Criminal Reference Check.
- Experience leading and training others in belaying technique.
