About the Role

The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Sunrise Challenge Manager. This is a full-time, contract position that will last for 8 months.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive project plan to ensure the successful execution of the Sunrise Challenge 2025 campaign.
  • Manage all aspects of the campaign, including program development, sponsorship activation, and event production.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate project updates and ensure milestones are consistently met.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to garner support for the project.
  • Work with external partners and vendors to ensure that all project deliverables are met on time, within scope, and on budget.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education or a combination of relevant comparable skills and experience.
  • 5-7 years of previous work experience in event or project management, ideally within the non-profit landscape.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams and at all levels in the organization and with external stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of website development, email, digital and social media campaigns.
  • Proficiency in computer applications on a Windows platform, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools.
  • Superior organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Sound judgment, ability to think creatively and problem solve.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and very strong person-to-person relationship building skills.
