About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dairy Queen Woodbridge. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food products meet our quality control standards.
  • Staff Management: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting our high standards.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators, and maintain accurate records of staff performance and customer feedback.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and attention to detail.
