We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Knack and Pace Inc. as a key member of our culinary operations.
Job Summary:The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of meals, managing kitchen staff, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our customers, ensuring high-quality ingredients and presentation.
- Kitchen Management: Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies and equipment as needed to maintain optimal kitchen operations.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure food quality and safety standards are met.
- Team Leadership: Foster a positive and productive team environment, promoting open communication and collaboration among kitchen staff.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Setting: Willing to relocate, with relocation costs covered by employer.
- Health Benefits: Dental plan, disability benefits, and permanent employment.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
