About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team at Mattamy Homes. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in the success of our construction projects, working closely with our Project Managers and site teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cost Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date cost reports, including cost-to-date reports, shop drawings, and Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • Project Coordination: Assist in coordinating submissions, distribution, and approvals of shop drawings, as well as track and process completed contracts.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with stakeholders, including project managers, site supervisors, and trade contractors.
  • Documentation: Ensure accurate and complete documentation of project progress, including meeting minutes, field documentation, and project schedule updates.
  • Problem-Solving: Assist in resolving scheduling issues and provide support to the project team as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Construction degree or diploma from an accredited college or university.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Project.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Additional Requirements: Valid Class G driver's license for travel to other offices and construction sites, with the ability to perform field tours and inspections on an active construction site.
