We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our team. As a Senior Estimator - High-rise Formwork, you will play a key role in driving business growth and delivering exceptional results for our clients.
Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-rise formwork estimating, with 5+ years of experience in the construction industry and 4+ years of experience in estimation. You will be responsible for performing full tender processes from invitation to submission, conducting quantity take-offs and cost estimations, reviewing scopes and completing bid forms, and communicating and negotiating with suppliers.
You will also be required to conduct site visits and attend bid interviews, prepare RFIs (Request for Information) with clients, maintain the tender tracker and track submissions, follow up with clients throughout the bidding process, review production with the operations team, mentor and train junior team members, present bid opportunities to management, seek new formwork opportunities, bring new clients and business to the company, and proactively seek out fresh avenues for formwork projects.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in the construction industry
- A minimum of 4 years' experience in estimation
- Experience in high-rise formwork estimating
You should also possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary of up to $140,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as bonus potential, health and dental benefits, and matched RRSP/Pension contributions.
LocationThis role can be based in either the GTA or Greater Ottawa Metropolitan Area, offering the flexibility to choose the location that best suits your needs.
