The organisation is a major construction group with several specialised arms, including a Shoring and Forming Arm. They operate across Canada and specialise in major high-value residential and commercial new build projects for some of Canada's biggest Developers.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Construction Project Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will have 4+ years of experience in Construction Project Management, with a focus on Concrete Forming and high-rise construction. People management experience is also essential, as well as the ability to work for a specialist Forming company.

Responsibilities
  • Manage project performance, schedule, costs, equipment, manpower, materials, safety, and environment and quality controls
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with project teams, trade contractors, architects, consultants, and clients
  • Project planning and execution
  • Manage project meetings
  • Mentor, coach, supervise, and assess performance of direct reports and team members
  • Assist in securing new work by participating in estimates, working with sub-contractors, and participate in proposals and presentations
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 4+ years of Construction Project Management experience
  • 2+ years of Concrete Forming experience
  • High-rise construction experience
  • People management experience (trades, Junior Project Managers, Project Co-ordinators etc)
  • Experience working for a specialist Forming company would be preferable
What We Offer

A competitive salary of up to $155,000 per year, depending on experience, plus annual bonus eligibility, RRSP/Pension, and additional benefits.
