Marble Setter

At AtwoZ Renos Inc., we are seeking a skilled Marble Setter to join our team. As a Marble Setter, you will be responsible for preparing, measuring, and marking surfaces to be covered with marble and other materials. You will also mix, apply, and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using a hand trowel. Additionally, you will prepare rough plans and sketches, set tiles in place, and apply pressure to affix them to the base. Your attention to detail and ability to distinguish between colors will be essential in aligning and straightening tiles, cutting and fitting tiles around obstacles and openings, and instructing apprentices. You will also pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout, remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles, lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural, and floor designs, build underbeds, and install anchor bolts, wires, and brackets. If you have experience with marble and granite, this is a great opportunity to showcase your skills. We offer a permanent position with 35 hours of work per week and a work language of English.
