Papa Johns Pizza is seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our restaurant operations, you will be responsible for ensuring that our food and service meet the highest quality standards.



Key Responsibilities


  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including hiring and training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Establish Methods and Schedules: Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Prepare Budgets and Reports: Prepare budget and cost estimates, and prepare and submit reports to management.
  • Address Customer Concerns: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.


Requirements


  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Work Setting: Food service establishment, fast food outlet, or concession.
  • Tasks: Establish work schedules, supervise and co-ordinate activities, train staff, estimate ingredient and supplies required, hire food service staff, prepare budget and cost estimates, prepare and submit reports, and address customers' complaints or concerns.
  • Supervision: 1 to 2 people.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player, initiative, and dependability.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year, permanent position, 30 to 44 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
