Are you a skilled Kinesiologist seeking a challenging and rewarding role in occupational rehabilitation?

We are looking for an experienced Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team at Community Therapists. As a member of our Return-to-Work Support Services (RTWSS) team, you will play a vital role in helping clients recover from physical injuries and return to their pre-accident employment.

About the Role:

As an Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to conduct job site visits to determine critical job demands, complete job coaching, functional screening assessments, develop and monitor Graduated Return to Work plans, and provide education on symptom management and ergonomic strategies.

You will work closely with physicians, WorkSafeBC board officers, and other members of the client's healthcare team to ensure a well-coordinated program for your clients.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in conducting job site visits and GRTWs, a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology or Human Kinetics, and membership in the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists (BCAK).

You should also possess individual professional liability insurance, a reliable vehicle for work, and excellent communication and negotiation skills.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work independently as well as collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team.

We offer a competitive salary range of $57-$70 per hour, paid weekly, depending on experience, plus additional benefits.

Requirements:
