Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

At Alberta Ltd., we are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our food service operations.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and direct a team of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to staff, focusing on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Accurately estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet our high quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers.
  • Financial Management: Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates, ensuring that our food service operations are financially sustainable.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights into our food service operations.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
