Job Description
The Mechatronic Technologist provides technical support and services in the design, development, maintenance and testing of ICOR products.
Responsibilities include:
- Design and assemble mechanical and electrical components for prototypes and production builds
- Conduct software and hardware testing
- Set up and commission a cable testing system
- Provide support to Production, Customer Service, and Quality Control departments
- Manage product sustainability, including obsolescence issues and maintaining legacy products in production
- Create and maintain technical documentation
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience in electromechanical assembly, repairs and system improvements, demonstrating a strong ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues
- College or University degree in electrical or mechatronic engineering or a related field
- Proficient in research and mechanical and electrical component sourcing
- Understanding of electronic components and their applications
- Familiarity with wiring diagrams, PCB layouts and electrical schematics
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- BASIC C/C++ programming skills
What We Offer
ICOR Technology offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
