About the Role

The Data Insight Automation Specialist will be embedded on projects with our product managers and software engineers, working closely with the team to refine requirements, define test plans, create automated tests, maintain and expand the test automation framework, and communicate project testing status.

  • Work with the product team to refine requirements
  • Define test plans for you and the QA team to execute
  • Create automated tests
  • Maintain and expand the test automation framework
  • Work with the engineering team to report issues and perform analysis to help find a root cause
  • Communicate with the team on the project testing status
  • Review QA practices and implement continuous process improvement based on key metrics
  • Review the QA roadmap and prioritize projects
  • Work with QA engineers to implement QA best practices
Requirements

We're looking for a teammate with a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, 3+ years in test automation, knowledge of web applications, databases, and web APIs, proficiency with SQL and at least one scripting language like Python, Ruby, or JavaScript, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and Linux experience is preferred.
