Regional Manager Job Description

GEOCELLCANADA Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Regional Manager to lead our telecommunications team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our urban area office, managing a team of over 20 people, and ensuring compliance with telecommunications regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures to drive business growth and efficiency
  • Manage a team of telecommunication traffic supervisors and staff to ensure seamless operations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
  • Oversee the preparation of reports to inform business decisions and drive strategic planning
  • Advise senior management on key business initiatives and opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with telecommunications regulations and directives of government regulatory agencies
  • Hire, train, direct, and motivate staff to achieve business objectives
  • Assign, coordinate, and review projects and programs to drive business results
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 3-5 years of experience in telecommunications management
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with MS Office and Voice over IP
