Regional Manager Job Description

GEOCELLCANADA Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Regional Manager to lead our telecommunications team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for establishing and implementing policies and procedures, managing a team of telecommunication traffic supervisors and staff, and ensuring compliance with telecommunications regulations and directives of government regulatory agencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations
  • Manage a team of telecommunication traffic supervisors and staff to achieve business objectives
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems to minimize downtime and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Manage contracts and negotiate with vendors to secure the best deals
  • Oversee the preparation of reports to provide insights and recommendations to senior management
  • Advise senior management on strategic decisions and provide expert guidance on telecommunications matters
  • Ensure compliance with telecommunications regulations and directives of government regulatory agencies
  • Hire, train, direct, and motivate staff to achieve business objectives
  • Assign, coordinate, and review projects and programs to ensure timely completion and quality results
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to achieve business objectives
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 3-5 years of experience in telecommunications management
  • Proven track record of success in managing teams and achieving business objectives
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of MS Office and Voice over IP
