As a key member of our roadside assistance team, you'll provide top-notch mechanical support to our members, ensuring they're back on the road quickly and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to member requests for roadside assistance, including mechanical repairs, battery boosts, tire changes, lockout services, and towing
- Conduct detailed diagnostic assessments to identify vehicle issues and resolve appropriate solutions
- Perform automotive repairs and maintenance tasks, ensuring quality workmanship and timely completion
- Assist in all weather conditions, ensuring a positive member experience throughout the assistance process
- Report any issues and take the initiative to resolve them, seeking support as needed
- Uphold BCAA service and safety standards by ensuring BCAA vehicles, equipment, and tools are kept clean, orderly, and in good working condition
Requirements:
- Completed high school diploma, preferably with Red Seal Certification
- At least 5 years of hands-on automotive repair and diagnostics experience
- Good driver with a clean BC Driver License Class 5
- Capable of lifting at least 70lbs during member service while prioritizing safety throughout the process
