The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving business growth, leveraging strategic thinking, and passion for impactful merchandising and product strategies. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and leading the execution of a comprehensive 3-year product roadmap, aligning with Knix's long-term objectives.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure merchandising functions harmonize with strategic planning processes.
To enhance the shopping experience and overall brand perception, you will focus on streamlining and optimizing product assortment. This includes:
- Conducting thorough analysis to identify gaps, overlaps, and opportunities within the current product range.
- Providing actionable recommendations for improvement and establishing a structured merchandising hierarchy and product architecture that supports strategic product planning.
You will lead and develop a high-performing merchandising and buying team, providing guidance and training to enhance skills and foster effective collaboration. Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing team structure and performance to drive continuous improvement and alignment with strategic goals.
To maximize in-season sales performance and create effective product marketing, you will partner with Product Design, Planning, Allocation, Retail, Brand, and Commercial teams. Additionally, you will collaborate with the marketing team to communicate the unique value propositions of new products.
RequirementsWe seek an experienced merchandising leader with:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a high-growth apparel brand with an omnichannel presence.
- A deep understanding of product development and planning, with expertise in cutting-edge merchandising strategies.
- Strong financial acumen, with a solid grasp of financials, gross margin, and sales analysis.
The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, commensurate with experience. We offer a competitive compensation package that reflects the value we place on our employees' contributions to our success.
