We are seeking a skilled Career Development Strategist to join our team at Khoury College. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of experiential learning and career development initiatives.

Job Description

The Experiential Partnerships Specialist will work closely with the Director of Strategic Partnerships and the Experiential Learning and Career Development team to design and implement programs that provide Toronto learners with practical, career-relevant experiences. These experiences include internships/co-ops, projects, events, hackathons, volunteer or service-learning opportunities, company visits, etc. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping students access career-building opportunities and ensuring they are career-ready at graduation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience designing and running large-scale, complex programs, both independently and in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A professional background in experiential learning, preferably in the technology education/life sciences space.
  • An understanding of industry hiring and employment trends relevant to the Toronto degree programs (e.g., biotechnology, bionformatics, regulatory affairs) and the ability to conduct independent research in these areas.
  • A holistic understanding of experiential learning and how to prepare students for careers, as well as strong communication skills and an interest in working in a highly collaborative role.
  • Flexibility and an interest in wearing multiple hats, as this role will require comfort with evolving priorities.
  • Excellent skills in relationship building, event planning, marketing, public relations, and database management.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with at least 3-5 years' experience supporting career development at a higher education institution or job-focused training program (e.g., bootcamp/workforce development).

Estimated Salary Range

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
