Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Director, Corporate Communications to manage the External Relations department and drive strategic communications initiatives.

">

The ideal candidate will oversee communications, marketing, and sponsorship efforts, developing an overarching communications strategy that sets a framework for storytelling and portrays the values and strategic priorities of The Forks North Portage.

This role requires exceptional oral communications and writing skills, as well as a discerning, strategic mindset. The Director, Corporate Communications will work closely with the CEO and senior advisor on strategic communications and messaging, while also providing direction, supervision, and leadership to the External Relations team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • ">
  • A minimum five years' experience leading successful communications strategies.">
  • A minimum five years' experience leading diverse teams, including internal employees and external contractors.">
  • Experience as a corporate spokesperson, with strong public speaking and presentation skills.">
  • Demonstrated experience taking a proactive approach to communications.">
  • Experience coaching executives in public speaking.">
