Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Community Services to lead our community services team. As a senior leader, you will be responsible for driving the achievement of departmental and organizational objectives. This role involves building knowledge of all community service programs, establishing risk management policies, and cultivating partnerships with stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Provide leadership and oversight for the community services team.">
  • Develop expertise in all community service programs and support them as necessary.">
  • Establish risk management policies and procedures for volunteer management and service delivery.">
  • Build and maintain partnerships with national committees, government agencies, NGOs, and community organizations.">
  • Represent the Council on national committees and external boards.">
  • Manage human resources, including staff and volunteers, performance measurement, employee relations, and compliance.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Post-secondary degree in community development, recreation management, NGO management, or related studies.">
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in a Not-for-Profit organization.">
  • Prior experience working in a Not-for-Profit position that is community-based.">
  • Able to obtain and hold certification as a Medical First Responder.">
  • Passionate, decisive, and open communicator.">
  • Proven team collaborator and big picture thinker.">
  • Excellent organizational and decision-making skills.">

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
