Key Responsibilities- Provide full scope of practice as an Emergency Medicine Physician, delivering exceptional care to patients within the eastern zone.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including internal medicine, surgery, psychiatry, pediatrics, obstetrics/gynecology, urology, and anesthesia specialists.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures.
- Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS).
- Membership with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) for family physicians.
- Eligibility for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) for specialists.
- Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA).
- Current certifications in ATLS, ACLS, PALS, and advanced Airway training.
