The Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine Physician to join their team at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to provide high-quality patient care in a state-of-the-art facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide full scope of practice as an Emergency Medicine Physician, delivering exceptional care to patients within the eastern zone.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including internal medicine, surgery, psychiatry, pediatrics, obstetrics/gynecology, urology, and anesthesia specialists.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS).
  • Membership with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) for family physicians.
  • Eligibility for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) for specialists.
  • Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA).
  • Current certifications in ATLS, ACLS, PALS, and advanced Airway training.
