Executive Chef

We are seeking an Executive Chef to join our team at Via Delhi. This is a permanent position, working 30 hours per week.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have previous experience in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational skills and the ability to work well under pressure. They will be responsible for planning menus, preparing meals, and training staff in preparation and cooking techniques.
Responsibilities- Coordinate special events and functions
- Determine food portion sizes and costs
- Plan menus and estimate food requirements
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a kitchen environment
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
This role requires a fast-paced environment and involves working in a physical role. The successful candidate must be able to work well in a team and manage their time effectively.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this role is $40,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including:
