Physiotherapist - Tertiary Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Nova Scotia Health and IWK Health. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our rehabilitation and supportive care services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with actual or potential impairments, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities in a tertiary care setting.
- Collaborate with colleagues to determine team goals and objectives, participate in the evaluation of team effectiveness, solve problems, and share responsibilities.
- Educate and communicate with other health disciplines, the general public, family members, and caregivers regarding health promotion, physiotherapy treatment, and pain management.
- Provide supervision and evaluation of physiotherapy students, and supervision of physiotherapy assistants and aides.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy from an accredited university.
- Membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists (provincial licensing body).
- Computer skills, including statistics input, word processing, and Microsoft Outlook.
- Annual Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System training and certification (WHMIS).
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred.
Hours and Compensation:
- Permanent, Full-time position; 75 hours bi-weekly.
- $42.89 Hourly.
