We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Field Office Administrator to join our Construction Phase Services group in Markham, Whitby, Toronto, and Mississauga offices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Contract Administrator in coordinating field duties and tasks, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Complete day-to-day inspections of Highway/Road/Bridge projects, identifying non-conformances and notifying supervisors.
  • Coordinate input from Quality Assurance Inspectors and the Contract Administrator to complete payment certificates.
  • Track, receive, and process material sampling and test results, maintaining accurate records.
  • Prepare contract documentation, including agendas, minutes, and instruction notices, for review and dissemination to clients, contractors, and third-party representatives.
  • Work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and extended shifts, as required.
Requirements:
  • OACETT rcsi or rcca designation, or PEO EIT or designation.
  • 3 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Inspector on MTO or Municipal Highway/Road/Bridge construction projects.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft productivity software (Word, Excel).
  • Prior experience as a Field Office Administrator on MTO assignments is considered an asset.
  • Prior experience with MTO's Web-Based Contract Management System is considered an asset.
  • Prior experience in the use of Critical Path Scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera) is considered an asset.
  • Team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
