Logistics Operations Manager

We are looking for a highly skilled Logistics Operations Manager to join our team at Ontario Inc. in a permanent role.
The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
About the RoleAs a Logistics Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our logistics department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
This includes preparing production and other reports, supervising workers and projects, training or arranging for training, co-ordinating and scheduling activities, and ensuring health and safety regulations are followed.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare production and other reports to ensure timely and accurate information
- Supervise workers and projects to optimize productivity and efficiency
- Train or arrange for training to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Co-ordinate and schedule activities to meet deadlines and deliver results
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment
- Recommend personnel actions to support the growth and development of the team
- Co-ordinate repairs and rentals to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to support operational needs

Requirements- Education: College/CEGEP degree or equivalent
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Certifications/Licenses: Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles)
- Language: Fluent in English
- Work Conditions: Work under pressure, organized, team player
