About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing finances and budget to optimize transportation costs
  • Arranging shipping documentation and tracking goods in transit
  • Establishing policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods
  • Negotiating services and preferential rates with suppliers
  • Overseeing the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods
  • Planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating daily operations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a team environment
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position working 35 hours per week. The work language is English.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
