Job Summary
Thompson Rivers University is seeking a highly qualified individual to fill a bipartite (teaching/service) position in the Department of Communication and Visual Arts. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a variety of undergraduate courses in Communication, with a focus on Public Relations.

Key Responsibilities
• Teach courses related to Public Relations, including Strategic Writing for Communication, Technical Communication, Introduction to Public Relations, and Advanced Professional Communication.
• Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students in the Communication program.
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.
• Participate in departmental and university service activities.

Qualifications
• A PhD or terminal degree in Communication or a related field is preferred, but a Master's degree with relevant industry experience will also be considered.
• Strong teaching and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to a variety of learning environments.
• Experience in curriculum development and implementation.
• Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff to achieve departmental and university goals.
