Job Description
We are seeking a Director, Assurance and Advisory to join our team. As a key member of our Assurance and Advisory department, you will be responsible for leading the planning and execution of audits, providing advisory services, and identifying opportunities to streamline audit processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of audit plans and work programs, ensuring adherence to our Audit Manual and Institute of Internal Auditors Standards.
- Provide advisory services to management, identifying insightful findings and presenting them in a clear and concise manner.
- Identify opportunities to improve audit processes and implement changes to support shorter, more targeted audits.
- Foster an inclusive team environment, providing guidance, coaching, and opportunities for professional development.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in accounting, business, or finance, with a postgraduate degree preferred.
- At least one of the following professional designations: CPA, CFA, CIA, CISA, or CBV.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in consulting, internal/external audit, and/or risk management at large and complex financial institutions.
