As a specialist in business systems and infrastructure operations, you will play a key role in supporting IT efficiency at Desjardins. Your responsibilities will include designing, configuring, administering, maintaining, upgrading and testing the quality of business solutions, computer networks, management systems, programs and database servers based on the organization's needs. You will analyze and diagnose complex issues related to IT deliveries, rollouts, infrastructure operations, controls and quality assurance. Your expertise will be essential in providing opinions in accordance with your discipline's rules and recommending solutions to improve and optimize standards, policies and programs. You will propose implementation plans and actively help establish and implement a quality assurance strategy for business solutions in a medium- to large-scale focus area. Your projects and initiatives will require extensive knowledge of your line of work. You will coordinate the planning, design and execution of projects and initiatives, and help solve complex problems using your analytical skills and detailed knowledge of your line of business. Coordination is critical, and you will interact with stakeholders working in other fields. You will serve as a resource person for your unit, clients and partners. In this role, you will be required to:
- Coordinate the development of a quality assurance strategy for targeted teams.
- Identify, input, analyze and interpret data to support testing phases, implementation strategies, quality assurance testing, decision-making and processes that monitor the application of management policies and practices.
- Analyze risks, write reports, propose solutions and make recommendations. Provide advice on how to implement recommendations.
- Prepare and recommend action plans to address issues in accordance with rules and parameters.
- Actively help develop, implement and update management policies, practices and standards.
