About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpentry Contractor to join our team at Leading Edge Group. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing carpentry projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Supervise carpentry projects, including planning, coordination, and execution.
  • Team Leadership: Train and manage a team of carpenters, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to complete projects efficiently.
  • Material Procurement: Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Quality Control: Inspect work sites and projects to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality expectations.
  • Communication: Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • Work Environment: Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Work Setting: Construction, repair, custom work, renovation, commercial, institutional, and residential projects.
  • Transportation: Valid driver's license and own vehicle required.
  • Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, overtime required, and ability to lift heavy objects.
